Rocky Statue 

In 1980, sculptor A.Thomas Schomberg collaborated with Sylvester Stallone to create the 'Rocky Monumental Statue' for Rocky III. When Rocky attends a ceremony in Philadelphia, the statue is unveiled as it standing at the top of the art museum’s famous 72 steps.

When filming of Rocky III was completed Sylvester Stallone left the statue in place as a gift to the city of Philadelphia. City commerce director Dick Doran was thrilled with the Rocky Statue, saying Sylvester Stallone had done more for the Philadelphia image than anyone else. The Rocky Statue was created in honor of the boxer, which today has become a permanent fixture outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  

To celebrate the legacy of Rocky, sculptor A. Thomas Schomberg in collaboration with Schomberg Studios and MGM have produced official scaled, collectable versions of his Rocky Statue masterpiece.
